teaching
My background, and more info…
I bring a robust educational background and broad knowledge base to my teaching. Holding a Bachelors degree in Classical Voice Performance, Bachelors degree in Music Education, Masters Degree in Conducting, Masters Degree in Vocal Arts, and Artist Diploma in Conducting, I am prepared to teach students whose goals and experience vary greatly and who are interested in many different facets of musical life and learning. My own education and professional experience have lead me to work in the top music schools in the country including the Curtis Institute of Music and the Juilliard School, as well as professional orchestras and opera companies around the US and abroad. In addition to more traditional career paths, I am well acquainted with repertoire, as well as the musical and entrepreneurial skills needed to carve a unique career or path for oneself in the world of music, especially if one’s background and skillsets are nontraditional.
Whether you are interested in regular lessons, or occasional check-ins for mentoring and support, I am here for you and open to your specific ideas and needs!
